Beer in the copper dress. The Goudale IPA is the perfect marriage of several American hops from the plains of Yakima (Washington State-USA). It reveals notes of citrus fruit and exotic fruits and wants to dry with pronounced bitterness. The yeast and cereals used in its recipe complete its taste palette with aromatic notes.

Bottle picked up from L’Eclerc supermarket, Cherbourg, Normandy, consumed at home Saturday 24th June 2017. Sparkling clear gold with a few bubbles atop. The bitterness was initially harsh but tempered after a while, actually it still is a tad harsh, some sweetness a little dry. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle. Morrisons. Clear amber. Thick and bubbly, off white head. Nose has sweet, toffee apple malts. Bit of spew. Privet clippings. All of that. Taste is fairly acrid bitter. Chewy mouthfeel, but with too much fizz. Acrid bitterness to finish. Wow. Never expected a lot from this really, and I wasn’t disappointed. Horrible.

Bottle @ home shared by TomHendriksen. Clear dark golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a little bitter, lightly grainy. How is this an IPA? Weird. Standard Belgian Blonde imo.
