(Bottle. 5.5%) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with brief bubbly head. Still. Fruity nose with notes of red apples, orange, vanilla and a touch of cardamom. Fruity taste with red apples, apple skin, orange peel, marzipan, vanilla, cardamom and a dryish finish with a generous acidity. Light body, mainly dry. Elegant and solid French cider. Very nice.

Bottle 5.5% shared at camping in Paimpont. Almost totally clear golden with some big bubbles. Sweet apple and dry apple peel, light earthy, dried flowers, dry cellar, mineral. Under medium sweet, quite light tart and bitter. Medium bodied, medium dry and a little watery. Fair cider.

75cl Bottle shared at Plage de Cleut Rouz. Poors full golden with lots of bubbles and a bubbly white head with little retention. Applejuice, fresh apples, yellow appleskin, mild tannins. Medium sweet with some faint funk. Thin body, strong sparkly carbonation and mild dryness that’s very pleasing. Lovely stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre François Séhédic - Brut on 18 Dec 2017 at 11:47 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.7

Corked bottle at Les Glénan, rue de Montparnasse, Paris, as Cidre Biologique Brut, 5% ABV
Hazy light amber color, peristent perlage, no head retention. Average apples aroma, with just a touch of nuts. The mouthfeel is not extremely dry, a demi-sec almost, with light apple flavor but an intriguing woody astringency. The final is actually drier. It’s more interesting for it’s mechanical qualities than for its flavor.
