Dark color and a quite huge tan head. Over carbonated I guess. Yes it was. Quite fizzy mouth feeling. Pity because it is probably a decent beer. Roast, cocoa, dark malt and some coffee.

Bottle. It pours a dark brown body with an orange tint. It's lightly roasted, rather fruity and with some apple notes and coffee. It's medium bodied, quite heavily carbonated and mostly on the dry side, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, bread, yeast hints, fruityness, coffee notes and some dark dried fruit in the flavor. Long roasted and fruity finish with a touch of green apples. Ok, so it's store strength, but it still fails to impress. By far. 180718

Svart med høyt tykt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, papir, kakaopulver og noe lakris. Middels- i fylde. Smaker salt lakris, havre, noe anis og kakaopulver.

Flaske 330ml spandert at Rune. Delt med ham i WC-veien 8 Jan 18. Mørk amber. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Litt lacing. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken karamell & krydder. Grei - men ikke mye som ligner på en porter.

330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Shared with Finn. Small fawn-coloured head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, covering a deep mahogany coloured body with a ruby tint. Earthy nose with roasted dark malts. Caramel malty flavours added by bread, and almond, hints of dark fruits behind. Dry, slightly roasted ending, mid-sweet. Fair enough. (Tromsø 08.01.2018).

21.10.2017, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Huge bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, weeds, toast, roasted grain, hay, minerals, dark malts, sour coffee, paper, soil. Taste is sour-ish mineraly, weeds, burnt toast, burnt grain, paper, soil, sour coffee, minerals, bark. Medium bitterness, watery and harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Meh!
