Bottled (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Brownish black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, toffee, some mild alcohol and a bit acidic wooden notes. Flavour is sweet liquorice, chocolate and some nutty and alcohol notes.

0,3 litre Bottle from Vinmonopolet Hamar. Almost Black with little light brown head. Roasted malts, molases, liqorice, Chocolate, Cherry? A bit thin.

Bottle 33 cl. Black with a minimal lightbrown head. A roasted malt aroma with some chocolate and spices sense. Sweet with a more burned malt end.

KØLF 150618. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is raisin, alcohol, spices, coffee. Flavor is raisin, alcohol, spices, cofffee, licorice, vanilla, herbs. OK beer.

Opaque colour, small brownish head. Toasted malty, vanilla, cocoa and some alcohol in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Cocoa, vanilla, light fruityness. Sweetish, a bit milky. Nice.

33cl bottle @ Vasa tasting. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Aroma has licorice salty notes, roasted malts and chocolate. Flavor has licorice, roastedness, tobacco notes, salty notes and hops. Long finish. Solid IS.

Black with a brown head - Malt aorma with hints of roasted malt , dark fruity tones, vanilla - Dark fruity malt body with a nice spicy tones from yeast and vanilla with some chocolate tones in the back as well - The dark malt flavour with fruity tones with some caffee, chocolate tones goes into the finish with hints of alc in the back - This was real good

From bottle at yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 08.12.17 and 09.12.17. Ebony. Brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitters, oak and vanilla. Fine taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, bitters and tar. Medium bitterness.

Bottle. Looks great with a pitch black body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma is light roasted dark malt with a hint of licorices. Flavor is sweet, pretty smooth dark malt, hint of licorices, molasses, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. Not very complex really, basically lots of dark malt with low roast, not much coffee, chocolate and the regular imp. stout flavors, but made in a very balanced way. All the sweetness feels balanced against the alcohol and bitterness, I just find this beer very pleasant to drink with no further due.
