Rødbrun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter fløtekaramell, melkesjokolade og kaffemokka. Middels fylde. Søt smak, karamell, sjokolsde og brunt sukker. Middels lang.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Strong vanilla, honey in the a bit bready nose. Medium-bodied. Very sweet, raisins, vanilla and honey with light toasty maltyness. Lots of vanilla and sweetness, too sweet for my liking.

33cl bottle, Vasa tasting. Poured brown color with a thin white head. Lots of vanilla in aroma. Light breadyness. Vanilla dominates, toasty notes with suitable amount of sweetness. Medium bodied.

Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2017. Amber color with no head. Aroma is vanilla bourbon, malt, sugar. Flavor is vanilla, bourbon, malt, sugar, dried fruits, caramel, spices. Medium to full body. Very nice beer.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A fawn-coloured head to a deep copper coloured body. Lacing rings down the glassware. Mid-sweet aroma of vanilla and dried fruits, promising. Delicate balanced sweet taste profile of vanilla bean, caramel, and chocolate lingering for a while. Smooth, gentle and clean in the mouth. Among the better ones this Yuletide - so far. (Tromsø 23.12.2017).

Fra flaske på maritim juleølsmaking ombord på Fridtjofen, des-17: rødlig kobber med flott skum som varer. Søt, saftig og god dessertbock med kanel og vanilje i tillegg. Muligens litt i overkant mht vaniljen.

Taste is slightly sweet concentrated mineraly, weeds, toast, nuts, grass, toffee, minerals, vanilla, raisins, caramel malts, grain, fruit stones. Medium bitterness, slightly dry concentrated fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.
