Hazed deep golden color with a fine thick head. Good lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a smooth carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness. Malty, fruity, herbal, some spices and mild smoke in the flavor. Nice tasty ale.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter sirup, knekk noe røde bær og alkohol. Middels fylde. Smaker søtt. Lett brent karamell og noe trevirke, pepperig, noe portvinfølelse. Middels lang, noe stikky

330ml cans shared with friends. Bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. Solid lacing, patchy surface. Next to clear golden-brown body. Spiced and smoked aroma. Smoked malty flavour, meaty, hints of caramel and herbs. Some impact of dried fruits to the end. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Den store juleøltesten at Finns place in Tromsø 18.11.2016).

Can. Pours hazy, dark golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is yeast, with hay, floral and earthy notes, as well as roasted malts with bread, caramel, heather and some smoke. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is yeasty notes of earth and herbs, as well as roasted malts with bread, caramel and juniper.
