Cask at the Waterloo Tap, 27/06/18. Hazed golden blonde with a well presented off white head. Nose is mellow citric peel, rye bread, toasted grains, crackers, hint of biscuit, trace of orange. Taste comprises airy malts, rye, tangerine, grass, toasted grains, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate bitterness. Passable cask pale but doesn't get out of third gear.

Fra cask på White Hart, London 15 Okt 17. Gusjegrågulbrun. Veldig uklar. Filmskum. Ser ut som eplejuice. Fraværende aroma. Kanskje litt eple. Smaken veldig tørr frukt. Ikke god.

Cask at White Hart, Chobham. Floral herby aroma. A cloudy pale gold, a white milky cataract effect. Bubbly white head. Umami with a light caramel sweetness. A light spicy bitterness comes in and through to the finish. Light-medium bodied. On the thin side. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. I appreciated the palate, but the taste was muted, bland. Easy drinking but forgettable.

Tap at ’Mercato Metropolitano’. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit and lemon, a touch of pineapple. Taste is citrusy hoppy, notes of grapefruit and lemon, a touch of pineapple, mild rye spiciness in the background.

Keg tap from the Express Tavern, Brentford. Golden yellow, cloudy, some visible natural carbonation. Small white ring of head, and lots of lacing. The juicy grapefruit hops compete in the aroma with the rough spiciness of the rye. Sweetness on the tongue is followed by considerable hoppy bitterness, which lingers throughout the long finish. Heaviness of the rye lies on the tongue. Thin body is lifted by heavy carbonation. Much more complex and interesting than the average golden.
