Cask at the brewery tap. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds toasted grains, simple bready malts, English yeast. Lights weet flavour with more bready, lightly toasted malts, more English yeast, leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with further toasted malts, mellow leafy bitterness, aged citrus peel. Not bad. Like an ESB.
