On tap at Gulating Pub, Stavanger. A lightly unclear orange colored beer with an off-white finger-thick head leaving lacing. The aroma is fruity with a nice grassy touch. Pale malts in the back, both in aroma and flavor. It’s mostly on the fruity side though, with a decent bitterness, grass and a touch of hay in the flavor. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation level. Dry. Some metallic notes in the very end. A nice and easy drinkable beer. 171020

KØLF 271017. . Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, herbs, yeast. Flavor is fruit, floral, herbs, yeast, malt, caramel. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes, shared at a Yuletide gathering. Off-white head over a hazy apricot coloured body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Moderate aroma of almond and earthy malts. Honeyed malt-fruity flavours. Drying, malt-driven end. Medium bodied. Okay with the Thai sour, just a bit anonymous. (Tromsø 16.12.2017).

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice, dence off-white head. Mild malty aroma with something soapy. Flavor is malty, some caramell, harsh fruity bitterness, some slightly unpleasant metallic. Medium body and aftertaste. Feels a bit dull with some metallic off flavor.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy dark orange colour with a creamy light beige head. Malty aroma of caramel, dried fruit, grains, wood and grass. The flavour is similar with more grass, caramel and fudge. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. Malty, tastefull and well-balanced.

Big offwhite creamy head. Hazy pale coppery still body. Fruity mealy aroma with strawberry and toffee notes. An odd mix, but it works. Dryish earthy mealy strawberry taste with overripe fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish dirty overripe fruit aftertaste with mealy notes. Overall, this is unsuccessful. Something in the aroma is just not right, and it's going to be a bit of struggle to drink the whole thing. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Lørenskog.)
