Bottle. Unclear yellow golden body with a big white head. Aroma has lemon, lime and some typical Sasion yeast with a hint of pepper. Flavor has a nice, classic Saison impression that almost get a bit hidden behind the distinct lemon/lime and citric fruit flavor with a hint of eucalyptus. After playing a little bit around with the taste pallets the pepper and more traditional Saison yeast becomes more evident. Medium body and rather complex aftertaste of lemon, citric fruit, pepper and Saison yeast. A bit unusually Sasion in the start, but I think the more experienced Sasion drinkers will find this as an exiting interpretation of the style.

Pale golden with a white head - Citrus and pepper aroma - Malt body to support a citrus and strong pepper flavour - The citrus and peppers goes into the finish - This was ok, a little to much pepper flavour for me

330ml bottle, batch 170, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Snow white head, spotty lacing, misty golden body. Unpleasant perfumed smell of ripe fruits and spiced. Lemongrass, ginger and mild pepper to the taste profile. Perfumed ending with a touch of overripe lemon. Sorry, not for me. (Shared with djoeye, Oktoberfest, Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 26.10.2017).

Bottle at home. 6.5 %. Pours a slightly hazy dark straw with a big, creamy white head. Aroma with lots of pepper, lemon, grass, flowers, white bread, Belgian yeast and hay. Still a lots of spices, nutmeg, along with grass, hay, lime, white bread and Belgian yeast. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and light bitterness. Interesting with all the spices, and maybe very suitable with food. Fresh and spicy.

Bottle, courtesy of the brewery. A dense, finger-thick off-white head forms over a lightly hazy golden colored body. The aroma has a distinct saison touch as a base for lots of lime, leaves or kaffir lime I guess, some black pepper, a touch of rosehips and some vague piney, grassy notes. Sort of chili-ish as well. It's medium to full-bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Some warmth too, and a decent bitterness. Lime dominates the flavor too, but there's also room for pepper, perfume and a light malty backdrop. It smoothens out through the lasting lime forward finish where also some lemony notes shines through. A very refreshing and tasteful beer that perhaps arrives a bit late considering summer's over. But I can sure drink this all year. 170914
