Bottle from Gulating. Almost clear golden body with a fine off-white head. Weak aroma, some pale malt and fruit in general. Flavor has light, soft pale malt, hint of fruit and medium sweet grain. Low bitterness. Medium to thin bodied and short aftertaste. It’s a drinkable but utterly boring beer, even for the golden ale, blond or whatever style this is meant to be.

18.08.2017, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry and harsh floral, weeds, paper, bark, minerals, flowers, old wash cloth, sour grass, old hay, plastic, dried harsh grain, soil, sawdust, cardboard, medicine. Taste is harsh medical, weeds, medicine, alcohol, paper, sawdust, cardboard, soil, bark, old hay. Longlasting harsh bitterness, watery and harsh medical mouthfeel. Holy crap on a cracker! The one responsible for this crap should never be allowed making another beer, and never be allowed drinking another beer as punishment....

Many thanks to Bryne for a 330ml bottle, Lot 258. Joint session with Finn and djoeye. Hazy golden body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Modest oily hops and grainy malts on the nose. Mid-sweet taste of caramel malts and leafy hops. Bittersweet end. Smooth in the mouth. Fair enough.
