Tap at pintxos bar in Bilbao. Clear amber brown colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, hay, brown sugar. Maste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, caramel. Sweetbitter aftertaste, malty, caramel, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, okay.

Shared 330 ml can at local tasting, as Amstel Oro Cerveza Tostada, bought in Tenerife. ABV is 6.2%. Amber colour, large white head. Sweetish malty aroma, notes of caramel and candy. Malty flavour, notes of caramel, very little hops.

Fra boks på RBHD-samling hos Odd Gunnar, april-17: klar gylden med fint offwhite skum. Karamell, mørk honning plus litt citrus og urter i arma og smak. Fin maltkropp med urter og litt overmoden grapefrukt i avslutningen.

Can shared with Sarah on holiday in Fuertaventra. A clear amber copper coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is nutty toasted malts, brown bread, faint tangy apple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts hint of toasted brown sugars, faint jammy fruits and an earthy spicy finish. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation, little alcohol bite in the finish. Not bad
