Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at The Gatekeeper (JDW). Patchy off-white head, spotty lacing. Clear amber coloured body. Malty aroma with a caramel touch. Malt-accented flavours, caramel offset by a subdued fruity touch. Drying malt bitter ending. Easy to drink. Nice bitter qualities. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

(Cask at Angleterre, 20160109) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toffee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were caramel, toffee, sweetness, earth and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet and bitter. A bit too sweet brew.

Cask pint at the Prince of Wales (JDW), Cardiff. Deep golden to copper colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Very moderate malty aroma. Smooth malty flavour, not sweet. A slight fruitiness makes it very drinkable.
