Cask ale, half pint shared with Finn at Commercial Rooms (JDW). Ruby brown body, declining beige head and lacing rings down the glass. Malt-fruity aromas. Caramel and marmalade flavours. Vague hints of bittersweet endnotes. Rather thin in the mouth. Accepted, below par for the style. (Bristol 30.04.2017).

Cask half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 28th Apr 2017. Brown/Ruby body, off-white head. Flat condition wise and far from ’rich’ in all aspects. Malty nose and flavour with some veg and fruit hanging around the endges of the aroma and flavours. Not the best beer at the festival.

Cask-conditioned at the Lansdown, Bristol 22 April 2017. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, caramel, slightly bready malts and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
