Flaske 330ml. Batch 72. Gave fra Yngwie. Delt med djoeye og Rune i WCveien 9 Jan 17. Hissig. Veldig lys gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum. Forsiktig ferskenaroma. Smaken metallisk fruktig. Blir tørr etter hvert.

330ml bottle, batch 72, many thanks to yngwie for this one. White filmy layer to a hazy, pale golden body. Spotty lacing. Fruity nose, hints of peaches and apricot. Rather discreet mid-dry fruity taste character, peachy and grassy, pale malty backbone. Fruity endnotes. Soft on the swallow. Just alright (Shared with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 09.01.2017).

Bottle. It’s a hazy golden beer with a dense finger thick white head. Some curtains. The aroma is hop driven, with apricot, melon, tropical fruit and some pine cones. Grainy pale malts lurks in the back along with a faint note of something slightly reminiscent of cooked vegetables. It’s medium bodied, smoothly carbonated and perhaps a bit sweetish even though there’s enough bitterness to deal with it. Mostly fruity flavor too, on a backdrop of pale malts. Long fruity finish with a grassy hint and a soft bitterness. A beer that won’t impress a connoisseur, but it’s refreshing and easy drinkable and I guess that was the goal. 160808

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, grass and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grainy, fruity, grassy and citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy.

330 ml bottle from Meny Vågsbgd. Clear golden body with lively carbonation under a big, creamy white head. Aroma is more than less classic pilsner e.g. pale malt, grain and grassy/floral hops, but in addition a hint of fresh fruit. The flavor stands out a bit more, super refreshing pilsner style with a bit more refreshing fruit and good bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste with more obvious bitterness. It’s a slightly different pilsner, but still within the classic style. Normally I’m a bit sceptic to the microbrewed pilsner as I believe this style is done best by some of the traditional breweries, but I found this quite nice actually.
