Fra fat på Thistle Park Tavern, Plymouth 22 Sep 16. Gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av plommer & fersken. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken som aromaen. Blir papiraktig tørr etter hvert. Gjennomgående karamellpreg.

Half pint, cask ale at Thistle Park Tavern. Low pearl white head to a clear amber coloured body. Spotty lacing. Aroma of dried fruits and dough. Lightly roasted malty flavours, hints of caramel and juicy malts. Dried fruity, bittersweet finish. Pretty alright (Plymouth 22.09.2016).

Cask, gravity, Merton Summer Beer Festival, 16-07-10 Dark amber appearance with a slight off-white head, merest hint of haze. Taste is a little rustic, its also quite fruity and malty leading to a decent bitterness and maltiness again at the finish. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

On gravity at Bristol Beer festival, 19/03/10. Amber coloured with a slight, white head. Aroma of sweetish malts, citrus hops and a touch of spiciness. Easy drinking, with biscuit malt flavours, more fruit, plenty of hops and a long, bitter finish. very good.

(Cask at Swann, Liverpool, 19 July 2009) Dark copper colour with creamy off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and prunes. Slightly roasted. Malty, nutty taste with notes of dried fruit, prunes, raisins and toffee. Medium body, fairly sweet. Balanced bitterness in the finish. Nice and tasty bitter with emphasis on malts.
