Flaske 330ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og djoeye i WCveien 7 Sep 16. Mørk amber. Lavt tett skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av krydret malt. Smaken karamell & krydder. Behagelig men blir litt tynn.

Clear brown color with a fine off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness to back it up. Roasted, chocolate and nutty flavor. A quite session able and ok brown ale.

Many thanks to Yngwie for a 330ml bottle of this one. Hazy copper coloured body. Fair beige lacing head. Brown malty nose, hints of nuts and herbal hops. Dark malty flavours, moments of earth, chocolate and nuts. Slightly roasted malty ending. Quite fine bodied for the low abv. Fits the style well (Tasting session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 07.09.2016).

Bottle. It’s a hazy one, brown in color and with a small, dense, beige head. Lightly maltysour aroma with coffee, nuts and toffee. Some fruityness too. Some chocolate. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, perhaps a bit watery. Wouldn’t mind some more carbonation too. Coffee grit, nuts, toffee and some chocolate in the flavor, followed by a gentle bitterness. Medium length finish with roasted malts and toffee. Well, it’s a decent one, but not the kind of beer I’ll buy again. 160327

330 ml bottle. Amber to brown body with a nice off-white head. Mild aroma of light roasted malt, some caramel and hint of coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, smooth dark roasted malt, some caramel, coffee, toast and hint of dry fruit. Moderate bitterness. A bit thin bodied and short in aftertaste with toffee. Not very typical brown ale, somewhere between brown ale, amber and British porter. Otherwise quite smooth and easy drinkable, not very exiting but nice with food or as a tasty thirst quencher.
