Can. A cloudy but see-through orange-golden drink with a finger thick white head leaving some lacing. The aroma has a light wort touch in the back, with lemon, banana and a generic citrus touch. It’s medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with a wee bitterness kicking in. Sort of cloying, but not overly sweet, and with a pleasant fruity flavor. Not much colors to find, neither in the aroma nor on the flavor. Short fruity finish. Sure one of the most interesting members of the Munkholm family, both present and previous. Still think I’ll go for water though. 170402

Hazy golden with a white head - Wheat aroma - Wheat body with some hints of banana - The wheat goes into a thin finish that is low in bitterness - This was boring

Can at home. Pours a hazy orange colour with a big frothy off-white head that fades fast. Aroma of cloves, banana, peaches, wheat, tropical juice and dry hay. The flavour is more malty with leather, karamell, sweet buns, tropical juice and minerals in the end. Has a light and watery mouth feel, light body and bitterness. A fresh and solid alcohol free hefeweizen-like ale. The flavour is a little unbalanced but the aroma is very nice.

500ml can from my local Prix store. Pours a finger-thick pearl white head slowly reduced to a patchy layer while leaving rings of lace down the glass. Orange coloured body with a wheat haze. Fine aroma of ripe banana and wheat. Modest taste of spiced banana sweetness, wheat, and distant moments of orange. Short-lived, drying end. Thin bodied and easy to drink without being overly diluted. Soft on the swallow. Decent non-alcoholic beer, even though half of it went down the drain, (Tromsø 27.07.2016).

A really decent and ok non alcoholic beer. Uncelar dark golden color with a fine head. Decent and ok aroma with some banana. Medium light body. Decent for this style. Ok mellow sweetness. Banana, mild clove, some wort and mild citric flavor. Better than a pilsner in the summer heat.

500 ml can. Hazy orange body with a big, creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, ripe banana, cloves and some honey. Flavor is sweet, wheat, fruit, banana and hint of honey. Medium to thin body and decent aftertaste. I have some mixed emotions regarding this beer. It’s kind of true to the style considering the aroma, flavors and sweetness, but something is missing. It has probably something with the alcohol to do, but anyway it’s not very good and I will probably don’t buy it again, still very nice to see this N/A version of a weissbier. Nothing really wrong with it, but I have never so far come across a non-alcoholic wheat beer that tastes really good, there are better options within other beer styles, even the regular Munkholm lager IMO. Nice try anyway.

500 ml can, from REMA 1000, Tau. Cloudy golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of bananas and banana toffee, also notes of cloves. The flavour (not as sweet as I feared) has the typical hefeweizen notes of banana and cloves, just in a blander edition. Minimal hops. But Munkholm Weiss has none of the typical n/a beer off-flavours found in Munkholm Hvete, which was discontinued a few years ago. Weiss is obviously a new and considerably better recipe.
