Bottle at To rom og Kj?kken, Trondheim. Has a deep brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of licorice, coffee, dark chocolate, nuts and bread. The flavour has more chocolate truffles along with coffee, rye bread and nuts. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and light to medium bitterness. A malty stout with a nice chocolate touch. The seaweed was not evident though.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Drukket i Skibotn 13 Aug 15. Kullsort. Lysebrunt skum som daler raskt og samler seg langs glasset. Veldig forsiktig sjokoladearoma. Smaken søt sjokolade. Masse bunnfall.

Bottle, at Haand Festival. It’s a dark beer, almost black, with a dense, finger-thick head, dark beige in color. Caramel and brown sugar in the aroma, lightly roasted. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with roasted malts and caramel dominating the flavor. Some brown sugar and a faint bitterness too, guess it’s more bitter than detected. Dry on the palate, with a lasting finish. Yet another high quality beer from Klostergården. 150529

Black color with a fine tan head. Roast, chocolate and coffee. Quite inviting. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Toffee, salt-ish, chocolate, coffee and mild roasted. Fresh and nice stout!
