Flaske 500ml. Drukket på Rundvannet 24 Jun 15. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget tett skum. Litt lacing. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken lett tørr sjokolade. Undertone av metall.

Flaske (takk til Rune) delt ombord på Fridtjofen på RBHD-treff aug-15: brunsvart med beige skum. Noe surt eller oksydert i aroma og smak kan tyde på en infeksjon. Men i tillegg er der en del gode elementer som bjørnebær, solbær og kaffe, så jeg skulle gjerne prøvd denne fra fat hos Lauvanger.

Shared 500 ml bottle, thanks to Rune. Black colour, moderate beige head. Tolerable aroma of chocolate and mild coffee. Thin body for its strength and style. Flavour of cold coffee, quite dry, a hint of wood, maybe a slight infection in the coming?

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 23.08.15. Black. Beige head. Aroma of sour black malt, roasted malt, blackcurrents and a hint of lambic. Also sourness in taste, with some liquorice. Dry. Suffering from a small infection?

150ml poured from a bottle at the Lauvanger brewpub in Tennevoll. A good looking jet black body under a solid creamy, tan-coloured head leaving decent lacing down the glass. Attractive aroma of roasted dark chocolate, cocoa, and dark fruit. The flavour profile follows suit with grainy chocolate malts, prunes, ash, and dark fruits. Roasted bitterness to the ending. Velvety in the mouth. A well-crafted stout (05.06.2015).
