Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A bright straw colour with a loose white head; grassy aroma; full bodied, with a grainy taste and a strong herbal bitterness; then some biscuity malts and lingering bitterness to finish. An assertive pint.

Half, shared with Finn, cask at Market Porter. Headless. Near-clear, golden body. Smell of bland citrus fruits. Sweet citrus fruits in the flavour character together with a note of juicy malts. Restrained bittersweet tail. Very average (London, 04.11.2012).

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 7/10/08. Golden coloured with a slight, but lacy white head. Hoppy aroma with floral, pine and citrus notes and some accompanying sweetness. Flavour started with some sweetish, digestive like malt before the hops took over again, with some refreshing juiciness and a long dry, citrus finish. Great stuff.
