Wheatsheaf, Borough 4 Nov 12. Gyldenbrun. Lite skum. Det lille som er fester seg til glasset. God, litt tung fruktig aroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søt karamell og mørk frukt. Søt, syrlig ettersmak. Bra.

Cask, half-pint, hand pulled at Wheatsheaf, shared with Finn. Good amount of lacing from a white head. Clear amber coloured body. Caramel malts to the nose. Malt-fruit taste leading to a malt bitter ending. A very typical British bitter (London, 04.11.2012).

Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, JDW. Pours very dark amber with a slight, bubbly beige head. Odd aroma, some malts, some sweat, some roast. Flavor is nice enough, though, with faint cherry, lightly burned, bready malts, and an earthy bitterness. Medium in body with fine to average carbonation. Burnt malt finish with mild brown sugar and caramel, faint fruitiness, and short, dirty hops. Not bad.

Cask at the Regal (JDW), Cambridge. Bronze with no head; earthy malt aroma; medium body with sweet autumn fruit flavour; the finish dry, nutty and gently bitter.
