Light golden coloured body with a peach coloured tint and a very thin, pure white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of grass, light hay, some very mellow malt/biscuits/yeast and a tiny dose of fruits - perhaps melons, but that is a stretch. Light-bodied; Very grassy and tangy floral notes hit up front with a big touch of hay and light grain with some softer fructose and sweetness from the fruits, but ends with a dash of honey and a light grassy finish that shows well. Aftertaste is super mild and only showing a touch of the fruits, but way more of the biscuits and malty flavours, but even those are a bit subdued. Overall, a decent enough beer that I thought would be A. more refreshing, 2. more fruity and III. more flavourful throughout. Beers from North Peak are usually much better, but this is a bit subdued and grassy without much melon flavour at all makes this definitely passable. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 08-May-2018 for US$2,37 the last time I was here in Orlando, sampled in my hotel room here in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on 18-April-2019.

bottle - Gold pour with a lingering white head. The mild aroma is of melon and other fruity notes. The flavor is lightly sweet with melon, cereal malt, and wheat. Light and refreshing. It's okay.

Stubby bottle. Hazy gold pour with a white head and good retention. Spotty lacing. The flavor definitely has that light salty melon taste. Light body. It's okay. Drinkable, but I wouldn't seek it out.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/18/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy watermelon, berry, guava, apricot, apple, honey, bread, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of watermelon, fruity/earthy hop, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy watermelon, berry, guava, apricot, apple, honey, bread, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of watermelon, berry, guava, apricot, apple, honey, bread, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of watermelon, fruity/earthy hop, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/tartness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and lightly creamy/sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero alcohol warming as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a nice fruited pale ale style. All around good robustness and balance of watermelon, fruity/earthy hop, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
