Saison is a Belgian beer style, which used to be brewed during winter on farms for consumption in spring, summer and fall. Our Saison is light and fruity, which makes it the perfect company for seafood. You could enjoy this ale in the shades of pine trees on Srebrna beach, listening to the sounds of the sea and caressed by the mistral. If you can’t make it there, close your eyes and let Prvo viško pivo take you there. 13°P

Bottle from Tolkien’s House, Zagreb. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with some funky notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt, citrus and fruit. Citric and salty aftertaste with estery hints. Nice :-)

0.33 l bottle at Craft Room kiosk on Zrinjevac, Zagreb. Cloudy yellow, diminishing creamy white head. Aroma is floral, rose, citrus and yeast. Taste is light dry with some bitterness. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Nice dry hoppy finish, grassy and herbal. Good for the style, aromatic.

Unclear, yellow colored, small white moderately lasting head. Aroma is of some malt, fruity, bit citrus, mostly phenolic spicy and yeast. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit citrus, quite fruity and even more phenolic peppery spiciness, medium+ bitterness, dry finish, bit alcoholic, quite yeasty, moderate lasting bitter spicy aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit oily. Strong bitterness and the touch of alcohol keep me from calling it refreshing. (bottle, Pivoteka Zagreb)

Thanks Nebojša! Misty yellow body, lightly fizzy, medium white head, medium to low retention. Lovely, complex aroma, typical saison funkiness blending excellently with fruity aromas coming from the hops, sweetish, tropical, apple rind, a touch of grapefruit sligthly dusty, fresh, a light phenolic touch though. Taste... wow, again the light grapefruit notes, herbal, banana, light funk, ?quince?, well integrated herbal bitterness, a mild phenolic touch again, light funk, bitter aftertaste. The hop profile is extremely well integrated with the classic saison notes here. Above average bitterness for the style, especially in the aftertaste, but well done. Light, refreshing, fruity, tasty, complex, everything a Saison should be! 3.85 really. Might decide to flip it to 3.9.
