500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, online. 6.5 years since the last review, yikes! Pours a murky red-amber colour, small white head, thin retention. Aroma of dried fruits and bready to caramel malts, some floral notes. Taste is malty with bready and caramel notes, fruity undertone, light earthiness, moderate bitterness, brief finish. Smooth medium body. Reminds me of a 'Moor' beer, maybe a similar character from the brewing process.

Handpull cask at the Chequers, Grantham. Light, almost golden brown, clear with a decent off-white head. Very low aroma, some light malts but not much here at all. Tastes sweet, a little corny, some ices tea. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. I mean, there isn't anything bad about it, it's just pretty dull if passable.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: BB October 2024. Drank at home on 12th March 2024 while watching Grimsby Town beat MK Dons 1-0 on my TV. Amber body, off-white head. Malty front with a hop bitter finish, nice balance and an easy drinking traditional English Bitter.

Foamy white head grew on an unclear amber coloured body. Berries & pine aroma. Medium bodied, foamy & clean. Pine, tangy, yeast & caramel tastes with a bitter lightly hopped finish. Easy going.

On tap at the Bacchus Hotel, Sutton on Sea. Amber colour with an off white head. Flowery hops and fruit aroma. Moderate bitterness and growing caramel sweetness. A good session bitter.
