Collaboration with Yeastie Boys as part of their 10th birthday celebrations. At its heart this is a weizen, with the addition of spelt in the grist providing a little more complexity. Fermented with our house brett blend plus Lacto Plantarum and Lacto Brevis to create a pleasant lemony acidity bolstered with additions of lemon verbena and lemongrass.

Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Unclear, slightly murky, pale gold. White foam recedes to a slim ring. Nose has lemon yoghurt. Lemon soap. Hint of brett. Wheat. Has a bit of a rubbery note to it. Taste has a preserved lemon twang. Fairly dry. Medium body, with low carbonation. Some acidity. Light burn on the way down. Dry and light sour finish. Maybe the brett hasn’t kicked in yet, but this is a pretty nondescript beer as it is, and feels like any number of other kettle sours out there.
