Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear nutty brown with hardly any head. Very sweet and clean Bourbon aroma, wood and vanilla. Solid body, burned caramel, brown sugar and again Bourbon. Warming alcohol in the finish. Perfectly balanced - not too much, not too little. 270511

330 ml bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours a nice dark reddish brown. Burned malty aroma with notes of fruit, liquorice and oak. Medium body, with a quite oily texture. Taste is heavy and sweet, with lots of heavy dried fruits and raisins, and some alcohol. Lots of hops come through in a magnificent finish.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10.0%. Deep brown colour, big off-white head. Pleasant malty aroma with notes of dark dried fruits, bourbon whiskey, vanilla and oak. The flavour is malty and medium sweet, balanced by decent hops. Again notes of dark dried fruits, bourbon and oak. Good bitterness in the aftertaste. Another excellent beer from Lervig’s head brewer Mike Murphy.
