Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrus, lending it a bit of acidity, leading to a bitter and metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

330ml bottle that pours a nice mahogany body with great clarity topped by an one-finger, beige head. Bland vegetables in smell and taste. The taste also brings notes of sour roasted grain. Light, watered and thin palate (sampled at home with Eva, 23.12.2007).

Bottle. Pours a clear, copper-colored, carbonating body with a small, dense, beige head. Distinct aroma of cooked vegetables, with a lightly roasted, caramelly background. Grainy, slightly sugary flavor with caramel and some weak hoppyness. Watery, quite fizzy mouthfeel, and a sweetish finish with caramel and cooked vegetables. Some sourness as well. Definately not suited for Christmas. Not suited for anything, in fact. No way I’m finishing the bottle. (071209)

330 ml green bottle. Like all Grans beers, it is available only in REMA 1000 stores. Bronze coloured beer, large off-white head. The aroma has notes of malts, caramel and cooked vegetables, hints of spices. Fairly thin mouthfeel, as expected from a 2.4% beer, but the flavour actually has SOME malts and hops, with a slightly sourish finish - so the beer is a little "better" than I feared.
