(Draught at Crown Rivers JDW, London Heathrow Terminal 2, 19 Apr 2009) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of hay and bread. Malty, grassy taste with hay and grassy hops. Thin body, fairly dry. Low bitterness. More of a standard pale Euro lager than a Bohemian pilsener to be honest. Boring stuff.

Tap, half pint as Lucan Premium Imported Czech Beer 4.3%abv., served cold at Wetherspoons The Flying Horse. Chill haze, but clear, late straw coloured. Loose froth leaving spotty lacing behind. Neutral malt-fruity aroma, slightly smoked. Lighter taste of fruits with hints of herbal dryness. Brief, smooth bitter ending. Clean tasting and refreshing (airside Gatwick, 08.08.2009).

Draught. Golden colour, small creamy white head. Aroma is earth, yeast, some grass and hay. Flavour is grassy, earthy, yeasty and also has some sweet malts and diacetyl to balance it up.
