(Cask at Caerpenter’s Arms, Marylebone, London, 8 Aug 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, peaches and citrus. Fruity taste with citrus, apricots, canned peaches and generous doses of grassy hops in the finish. Light body, fairly dry. Nice and refreshing.

Half pint from cask enjoyed in relaxing surrounding at The Carpenter Arms, Marble Arch. Spotty, lacing head. Clear copper body. Nice citric aroma. Smooth flavour of hop resin and rounded bitter aftertaste. Medium to thin bodied. A careful, but decent start to my third drinking day in London (03.08.2009).

Cask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival 2009 18-07-09 Pours lemony to golden in colour its a great looker to be fair. Some light maltiness on nose. Tangy and fruity in the mouth, the finish is dry and at times I was quite literally bowled over if you’ll pardon the cricketing connection by the thrusting bitterness that shone through.
