On tap at Bar & Cigar. It’s a slightly hazy beer, golden in color and with a small, off-white head leaving lacings. A faint note of candy and some spices are overpowered by the wheat in the aroma. Flavorwise it’s slightly candy-ish, in a nice way though, with wheat, a touch of spices, dried fruits and a yeasty note. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated, and with a pleasant bitterness in the end. A pleasant ale with a bit boring aroma, but that might be due to age. 100820

Batch No. 231, matured for about one year and then poured from tap at Bar & Cigar. Fair amount of off-white head. Golden body colour with a slight haze. Malt-fruity aroma. Spiced citric flavour nicely offset by suggestions of chocolate malts. Rounded bitter ending, some wheat dryness, too. Medium bodied. Likable (Oslo, after midnight, 31.08-01.09.2010).

On tap at Olympen, Oslo. Cloudy orange colour, low white head. Strong yeasty and fruity aroma, also notes of cloves, coriander and oranges / orange peel. The flavour is wheaty and fruity (oranges) with yeasty and spicy notes. A bit sweet and "heavy" for a wheat beer, but nice enough.
