Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a clear dark brown with thin broken light tan head. The aroma is smoky bacon roasty malt. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a dry roasty charcoal dry light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottle at Jim’s back tasting! Almost black with light brown head. Massive smoked malts, bacon, ash, sweet malts, roasted malts, goat, smoked paprika. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Sorry it’s not my thing at all.

Sampled from bottle at jim is back xmas tasting. Dark brown with tan head. Pine needles and rauch, smoked sausage. Big sweet and moderate meaty bitter. Umami. Medium body and soft carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared at the pre-Christmas tasting with JimGreenuk. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of big smoked malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle share @ Niamey's 3rd craft beer tasting, big cheers to Madalin for logging around 30 Romanians bottles to Africa. Brune foncée, col beige. Arôme offre un bouquet malté fumé plaisant, rétro doux, caramel avec une pointe de mélasse. Palais est malté, caramel, léger fumé avec un petit effet doux rappelant un peu un caractère allemand de mélanoïde. Pointe de café sur la fin avec une note finement épicée. Le houblonné reste assez discret et apporte une balance noble.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Opaque dark brown, mocha head. The aroma is mostly smoke, smoked wood, a little smoked fish, not much malt coming through. The taste is more yummy - sweet dark malts, some brown sugar, charred wood and a hint of smoky bitterness. Good chewy body, thick yet easy-drinking. Very well done.
