Original review text: Pitch black pour with a fine-grained tan head that gives way to a thin, long-lasting lacing. Notes of bacon, smoke, roasted malts, burnt caramel, more bacon, more smoke, more caramel, some dried fruit. Smooth texture, medium carbonation and a smokey bitter-sweet finish. Nice!

Tap at Beeryard 3. Dark brown body. Smoked ham dominates the full malty aroma. Dry, a bit rough leathery smoked malt taste, solid body overall and well made, but I'm not sure I fully enjoyed the profile. Will try to rerate at a certain point.

Thanks mcberko for sharing! Dark brown color, creamy foam. Aroma: smoked malt, smoked cheese, malt, caramel, prunes. Taste: smoked, sweet, caramel, smoked cheese, mild sweetness, wine, whisky, good balanced and pleasant!

F: medium, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, bit smoked tones, bit chocolate, smoked meat, bit cocoa, hint of caramel. T: dark malts, smoked tones, bit woody, smoked meat, bit caramel, peat but not disturbing, bacon, bit dark fruits, taste is better than aroma, light oily mouthfeel, full body, lower carbonation, good balanced for the style, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from 100 Beers in Sofia, Bulgaria.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with peat, smoked meat, and caramel malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with peated malt, smoked meat, and light caramel malt. Love the peat and smoked meat character here. This is excellent.

Bottle, 330 ml courtesy of Miro. Shared with Miro, JFK10000, Max. Pours black with medium beige head. Quite smokey, but not too aggressive. Roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, sweet with some bitterness in finish. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Nice.

Bottled 330ml. -Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, smoked sausages in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, smoked sausages and mild smoked bacon with notes of brown sugar and light alcohol in the finish. Maybe a bit too sweet in the finish but anyway really good brew.

330ml bottle thanks to Cez and Chris. Pours almost black with a small tan head, dissipating. Aroma is smokey, meaty, roast malts, some kind of sweet chocolate/caramel notes. Taste is mostly the same, smoked meats and roasted malts, hint of sweetness from chocolate/caramel malt, bacon, subtle spiciness, bitter roasty finish. Medium-full bodied, soft carbonation. Not into smoked beers but really enjoyed this one.
