Golden amber with no head. There’s hints of orange citrus in its aroma, but its fruit taste is very mild with little bitterness. Easy to drink.

Cask, half pint served at the very right drinking temperature. Golden-brown body, bright surface. Fine aroma of plain malts. Caramel malts up front to the taste buds followed by dried fruity notes and finish off with delicate bitterness. A pleasure to drink this in classical pub surroundings at St Stephens Tavern, Westminster (London, 31.07.2011).

Cask at The Prince Edward in Bayswater. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is lightly plummy with some floral. Flavor is mild caramel and light darkish fruit (oxymoronic that?). Pretty much balanced. Mildly bitter. Refreshing after a long walk on a warm day.
