Cask @ Haymarket, Edinburgh [300413]
Amber, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma of sweet fruity malts, floral aromatic hops, some orange and pine
Taste of sweet fruity malts, orange malts, touch of cake mix, floral hops, touch aromatic, lots of sweet caramelly fruity malts masking the hops underneath, too malty and under hoppy for an APA
Palate - Medium body, sweet, quite sticky, fairly oily. Finish as main flavour, rather dry
Overall - Not overly hoppy and too malty for an APA but overall it isn’t bad

Cask at the Chequers, Oxford on 24th April 2013. Clear copper almost without head or lacing. Malty aroma with some cheesiness initially. Lemon citrus and orange/lemon peel in-mouth. Sweet malts and lemony citrus in finish, on a mouthfeel that was light but not flat. Have had better.

Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a frothy white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and mild grape hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fruity and a lovely moderate and balanced grape hoppy taste.
Overall impression: Lovely suprise. Tasty and fresh APA.
Personal stats: On tap at White Hart (Nicholson’s) in London, England.

Understated in its IPA character, but has a good balance of taste and texture.

Half, cask ale at the JDWs at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester. White patchy layer. Close to clear amber coloured body. Good lacing. Dry hopped aroma with hints of sweat. Taste of sweaty hops, mid-sweet malts and a drop of honey. Dry bitter ending. Fairly pleasant, but not much for an American IPA. (04.07.2012).
