A Founders take on a classic style, brewed with a generous amount of flaked oats, chocolate malt, roasted barley and a healthy helping of Nugget hops, Founders Oatmeal Stout is nitrogen-infused to give it an extra smooth and creamy mouthfeel. An attractive cascade effect gives this beer its forthright visual appeal—and the body and clean flavor delivers on that initial promise.

On nitro at River Rd Tavern with Todd Feels a lot like a dry stout but that could be the nitro treatment, Creamy roasty with hints oft cereal and lightly sweet

Pint at Glass Nickel. The steady creamy beige head accentuates the soft mouthfeel. Coffee, cocoa. A touch more depth than a typical nitro Stout. Classic. Well done.

Draft: (nitro) Black...huge creamy tan head. Coffee, chocolate, lactic aroma. Lightly bitter coffee, sweet chocolate malt and cream flavour. Smooth, easy.....but drinks "stouter" than the ABV would suggest. Really tasty.

Draft - Nitro - Dark roast malts and a bit of dark chocolate. Jet black with a creamy brown head. Roast malts and dark chocolate with only a mild bitterness. A rich beast of a beef on nitro.

On tap at Ashley’s Ann Arbor. Pours a deep brown with a nice airy light tan head. Roasty malt aroma and smooth roasty coffee flavor with cocoa and vanilla, kind of that classic oatmeal stout blend. A pretty nice one.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was chocolate, vanilla, a bit of coffee and a touch of roasty malts. The flavor was roasty, dry and bitter with notes of coffee, cream and a hint of chocolate. Long dry, roasty and bitter finish. Medium body. Ok.

Tap at Macgregors. Dark pitch black with a fine, tan, nitro-looking head. Dry roasty nose, dark chocolate, cream. Smooth nitro silk body. Great balance. Smooth and tasty, mildly roasty with cocoa.

Nitro tap. Dark black with tan head. Amazing dissipating creamy stout body. Coffee and roast malt aroma, hint of chocolate. Same taste. Medium body. I think the nitro helped this one. Good nonetheless.
