Starboard is a fresh straw yellow beer that is brewed like a Kølch. The beer has low bitterness and a dry finish with an aroma of malt, flowers and spices.

330 ml bottle, from Bunnpris Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of pilsener malts and floral hops. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of grain and some citrus, low bitterness, utterly forgettable. Won't buy again.

From bottle at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø, 21.10.17. Clear pale golden. Not much head. Fruity aroma, with noble hops and pilsner malt. Similarly fruity taste of pilsner malt, flowers, noble hops and succade. Medium hop bitterness is lingering on.

Poured from a 500ml swing-top bottle, kindly shared by Cunningham. Slightly cloudy golden body with a decent white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Lightly grass hopped aroma, pale malts behind. Herbal hops to the taste buds joined by a mild spicy touch. Mid-dry ending. a bit thin on the swallow. Refreshing. (The great Munch drinking session, hotel room, Oslo 15.03.2016).

Clear golden color with a fine thick white head. Some lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma, with some strange notes. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, mild grassy/grainy, some spices and herbal flavor. Decent easy drinkable ale.
