Open your eyes to flavour… every brewery needs a good IPA. Ours combines locally grown Maris Otter with Munich and wheat malts. This is a heavily hopped ale with a mix of Centennial, Cascade and Crystal hops, providing bitterness that is topped off with a multitude of citrus and spicy aromas.

Bag In A Box beer from the cafe-bar Gangway, in Cromer, almost opposite the prominent church. My first ale from this type of container, always been cider or perry before. Clear copper amber with a head. Sugary-malty in design with some stewed fruit evident in both aroma and taste.

Cask at Crafty Merlins, Darlington. Gluten Free. Golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, citrusy, hops. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, marmalade, citrus, with woody hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - slight gusher and then amber with generous lacing. Nose - light sherbet, orange and red fruit. Taste - definite sherbet unintended methinks. Light red fruits again. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Sherbet / yeast notes prevalent. Overall - something wrong with this one. Not what the brewer intended.

By gravicask at the Murderers in Norwich. Orange-brown body, hazy. Ring of bubbles to the rim of the glass. Yeasty fruity nose. Taste is bready added by juicy malts. Vague bittersweet ending. Drinkable. Beyond par for the style (Shared with Cunningham, 18.02.2017).
