Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Deep, chestnut brown. Frothy, blotchy, pale tan head. Nose has dark chocolate. Some coffee. Some bonfire toffee. Taste is fruity, toffee sweet. Some ashy, coffee grind bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. More ashy bitterness on the finish. Nice one. Went well with a Kelham ham sandwich!

Black color with a tan layer on top. Mild intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Moderate sweet and a decent bitterness. Semi dry ending. Mostly coffee, roast and some fruity notes in the flavor.

By gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Winter Beer Festival. Shared with Cunningham. Almost black in the glass, covering off-white layer. Liquorice and dark fruity aromas. Flavoured with dark dough and chocolate. Slightly roasted ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing to a certain degree (17.02.2017).

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Clear deep amber - brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts. Some dark chocolate and coffee. Light dry finish. Just another stout.
