Keg at GI brewpub. It pours very lightly hazy brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, metallic, toasty spice, grassy, bit of brown bread and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter, metallic, spice, toasty, earthy, leather, alcohol and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, carbonation. Not bad.

Keg at the London brewpub Shoreditch. A nutty red coloured pour with a fine beige head. Aroma is subdued, light brown sugars, dried apple, brown bread, some hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rustic brown malts, dried apple, light tang, hot alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, spritzy carbonation. Ok.

Keg, one third pint at the brewpub in Shoreditch. Low white head, upper part lacing, cloudy dark orange body. Moderate aroma of mid-sweet fruits. Dried fruity flavours added by dough with a touch of farmyard. Lingering drying finish. Fine bodied. Rounded on the swallow. Pretty nice. (London 11.01.2019).
