Our classic easy drinking bitter. Malty and biscuity flavours excite the palate while a generous helping of British hops bring a light refreshing bitterness. Earthy, spicy and biscuity on the nose, with malt and fruit flavours are obvious on the finish.

Third, beer flight, cask ale at the brewhouse. Off-white head to a clear copper coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Mid-sweet malt-fruity aromas. Grass, toffee and biscuit to the taste character. Malt-fruity endnotes. Thin to medium bodied. Easy going. (Cambridge 09.07.2019).

Handpull cask from the Cambridge Brewhouse. Light brown - the colour of strong iced tea - and slightly hazy without much head.. Bit of caramel on the nose with notes of biscuit and strawberry. Taste is bittersweet with a nice balance. The bitter fruity hop extends its influence in the finish, leading to some earthy tannic notes in the aftertaste. Thin, flat body. Fairly average.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Light palate, dry with modest fine carbonation. Sweetish and somewhat lagerish malts. Semi sweet floralness. A little ripe fruit and modest spice. Semi dry finish. Quite ESBish. Tidy bitter.
