Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, fruity hops, some chocolate, caramel, citrus, soy sauce, coffee, liquorice. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium to full. Tasty, rrather fruity hoppy Imperial Stout. Pretty good!

Bottle. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted, mild tobacco, a bit wooden and some slight chocolaty tones. Flavour is toasted, liquorice, alcohol and some mild smoked wooden tones. Easy going, but still rather nice.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Raisin, dried fruit, chocolate and soft vinous notes in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with chocolate, vinous notes, raisin, soft roast and a hint of licorice. Earthy hops, partly faded and rye. Very nice.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is roasted, cola, pine, taste is sweet, pine, bit of citrus, roasted, bitter.

330mL bottle at Hell Hunt, pours a deep dark reddish brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some earthy notes and powder, chalky cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roast, light cocoa and chalky notes. Very chalky, a bit oxidized and bready on the finish. Lacking hops and general oomph, so definitely not an American style impie, sadly. It's alright. Needs work.

Bottled. A black beer with a thin bubbly brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, alcohol, roasted malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, soy sauce, chocolate, and prunes, leading to a bitter finish.
