Middels myk i munnfølelse. Ettersmak til ettertanke.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm off-white head slowly diminishing over a dark coloured body with a nice, deep ruby shade. Lacing rings on the glass. Aroma of berry skins, earth and dark fruits. Well-blended taste character of dark berries, dark malts, and dried fruits, lightly spiced. Smooth ending with mid-sweet berries. Fine depth. Likable sipper on a Friday eve. (Tromsø 15.03.2019).

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 7.5%. Dark reddish brown colour, large beige head. Nice aroma of malts, brown sugar, sultanas, cinnamon and orange peel, can't detect the cranberries. Lovely flavour with the same elements as the aroma, not too sweet. Moderate hops. Well balanced, might well buy again.

Keg at Six D Aberdeen. It pours deep mahogany brown with a decent beige head. The aroma is spicy, warming, dark fruits, clove rock, cinnamon, fruit cake, Eccles cake, liqueur and pie crust. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, peppery spice, clove rock, cola cubes, earthy roast, festive spice, warming, boozy kick, toasted sugar, treacle, sugars and some dandelion and burdock. Medium + body and fine carbonation. Classic Belgian Xmas beer. Decent.

Appearance - murky dark brown. Nice fawn lacing. 4 Nose - banana, nutmeg and light toffee. 7 Taste - more of the same but in bigger quantities. 8 Palate - creamy and medium bodied. 4. Overall - supposed to be some sort of weird new concept beer but isn't this just a dunkelweizen. Good though.
