0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda, Haren. Cloudy dark golden with a nearly two finger short living white head. Dry grainy malty with banana fruity background on the nose. Taste starts more on the banana side, freh pale grainy in the second row. Above average carbonated. Fresh. Little bit herbal. Not bad.

Bottle from a gift box - many thanks to mom & dad for bringing it & to the brewer for gifting it! Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of banana, ripe yellow apple, freshly baked bread, wheat, yeast, curaçao, clove, faint butter. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet, ripe apple & 'estery' banana resting on thick bready maltiness; the undertone has spicy clove & pepper as well as sourish wheat & lemon, all the while quite yeasty. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering spices, wheat & bread, some banana too. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. All in all edging slightly towards a German-like Hefeweizen; but still more of a Witbier than, say, a modern Wheat Ale, for which it is too estery. Plain good.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium to full sized white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste wheat, sweetish, light herbal / spices, quite yeasty. Average body, firm a bit fizzy carbonation. Meh, not very good afternoon all.

Sampled from tap at Martinus. Slightly hazy yellow with white head. Sweet malts, grain, lemon, soapy, coriander. Light sweet and mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, milky chalky feel and soft carbonation. Quite a nice and fresh witbier.
