Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice, dense white head. Nice, strong and fresh aroma of grapefruit, citric fruit, pale malt and hint of oranges. Flavor has a decent maltbase with god, strong bitterness, lots of grapefruit, some citric fruit, mild orange touch, a bit like ripe oranges or marmalade. Nice balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. A very pleasant take on the IPA with a bit more complexity and depth than the average lot.

On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. It's a lightly hazy golden colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is mostly of the citrus fruity and tropical fruit kind, with orange marmalade and grapefruit. Not much maltyness going on, and just hints of earthy, herbal kveik yeast. It's quite dry on the palate, at least for the style, with a soft and pleasant carbonation. Full body. Fruity flavor too, with orange marmalade except for sweetness, grapefruit and pine cones, and a hint of bready pale malts. Lasting finish. A pleasant one indeed, and considering the ABV, dangerously easy drinkable. 190608

330 ml bottle, batch #290, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 9.5%, IBU 60. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of fruity kveik and hops (notes of ripe yellow stonefruits). Sweet, malty and fruity flavour, notes of yellow fruits, juniper, alcohol and fairly sharp bittering hops.

330ml bottle, batchnr 290, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady chalk white head over a hazed golden body. Crocheted lacing on the glass. Quite promising aromas of ripe citrus and almond. Blananced kveik citrus flavours, moments of orange, herbal hops and almond. Long lived ending containing moments of citrus shells and warmth from the alcohol. Full bodied. Nice, mouth filling sipper. As long as this is my rating #10K I feel I can write whatever I like. But I will try to keep focus. I wanted it to be a Norwegian beer. And of course a jolly good one also. The last duel was between Hogna and Qvart. Two small breweries with a high amount of goodies. And when Kveikasaurus popped up the deal was done. The kveik twist in this double IPA was really nice. I have also visited this brewery and the people at this brewery are really nice and friendly. The beer had a fine hazy golden pour with a fine head that left a decent lacing down the sides of the glass. Aroma was surprisingly mild at first. Became better after a while. Yeast (kveik), fruity and hoppy was the most prominent stuff in my nose. I feel it had a well balanced bitterness and sweetness for a beer with 10 horsepower. Not to sweet and no harse bitterness either. Solid. It had a fine long duration also. Very pleasant. Even when quite warm. Ok it was boozy, but no horrible sticky alcohol in here. Well done bhoyz. Solid thick oily body off course. But still dangerously easy to drink. The flavor contained kveik, fruity stuff, malt, citric hops and pine. Ok my friend the butcher from Loddefjord did not fance this one. But in my opinion this is an excellent powerful beer. You go straight into Jurassic Park after bottle #2. Qvart you get my vote for #1 beer 2019 and thanks for a solid 10K experience. [Bottle from Vinmonopolet Oslo City and on tap at Fredrikstad Ølfestival 2019]
