Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim waar een mooie film van overblijft. De geur van bessen en frambozen kwamen me tegemoet. De smaak van vruchtenlimonade overheerst. Er blijft een licht bittere nasmaak hangen.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donker bruin bier met een diep rode gloed. Het heeft een dun schuim. De geur is moutig en gebrand. De smaak is fruitig, hoppig met een vleugje cassis in de nasmaak.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Black with a light beige head. Raspberry and roasted malts aroma. Sweet taste. Quite thin bodied. Interesting and tasty beer but more a fruity stout than a black IPA in my opinion.

Bottle at home. Hazy very dark brown with light brown head. Roast, raspberries, red currants, soft lavender soap, ash, raw cocoa, soft dank hops. Just medium sweet, bitter and sour. Medium bodied. It’s more a fruity stouts, but I think the stout-raspberry combo works well, and this is a nice example.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Hotel Room tasting ] - Room #183, Woerden, Netherlands. [ As Two Chefs Berry Black ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, berry, wood - woody, light chocolate, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, berry, dark malt, wood, sugary, strawberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 6-3-6-3-12

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of raspberry. Nice balance of bitter and sweet.

Bottle shared at home. Black with thin head. Dark roasted malts, loads of raspberries, grassy hops. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Fruchtig hopfiger Beginn mit geringer Röstigkeit. Moderat bitter, weich hefig, für ein black IPA zu wenig malzig. Rund. 10/11/10/10//10

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Clear dark brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty and slightly fruity aroma of chocolate, caramel and red fruits. Moderately sweet, malty, rather roasty ans slightly fruity taste of caramel, dark chocolate, licorice and some raspberries, followed by a short, rather roasty-bitter, earthy and dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is strawberries, hoppy, chocolate. Taste is strawberries, chocolate. Medium carbonation, strawberry hoppy finish. Works!
