Bottle from Jumbo, Lanaken. Clear dark golden, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe plum, orange, banana, pineapple, mango, biscuit, caramel. Taste has sweet orange, mango & pineapple in a biscuity, caramelly malt body, bit spicy, vague zesty freshness and very slightly sour at that. Floral hoppy finish, lingering ripe orange, biscuit & yeast. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweetish yet with a nice 'autumnal' freshness. Drinkable all day long.

Goudkleurig bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet en licht kruidig met iets van sinaasappel, wat karamel en een vleug koriander.

Labelled as a “funky blond”... it is nice and dank. Clean and round body. Good beer. Bird Amsterdam

@home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear deep amber colour, tall creamy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malt, roasted, caramel, dough, retronasal roestiness. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, caramel, grassy hops. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, light roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, resinous notes, sugary notes, clean, crisp, good maibock.

Amber colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are predominantly malty and sweet with a touch of caramel. Very much in the style of a Belgian Blond and in no wayfunky as mentioned on the label.

Flesje gekocht bij VVV in Liempde en thuis gedronken. Amberkleurig bier met grof schuim tijdens inschenken maar dat schuim trekt snel weg. Aroma en smaak van sinaasappel en hop. Nasmaak is iets bitter.
