Different Spaghetti Western batches aged for six months in Grappa barrels. Armoa is rich and intense, recalling grape, coffee liquor and black cherries. Mouth is dry, body is light with a slight winey acidity.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee, light chocolate, booze, wood notes. Taste is more of the same. A lot lead chocolaty than the original. Creamy texture, light booze finish. Nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - opaque black with a thin head which disappears quickly. Nose - deep coffee and booze notes. Taste - more of the same. The booze lifts the chocolate a bit. Palate - full bodied with a big creamy texture and a big creamy but balanced finish. Overall - really big and complex. Far better than before the barrel ageing and I don’t say that often.

Bottle, thanks to Daniel, split at LKS Moon Dome, 21/04/15. Black with a big old tan head of tightly knit bubbles. Nose is coffee grinds, spice, charr, dark fruits, light wood notes. Taste comprises sweet brown sugar, molasses, muscavado sugar, coffee grinds, spice, chocoalte pudding. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light grappa strains and tarte fruit in the close. Decent enough impy.
