330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Big bubbles on the surface of a mostly black coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Tart berry skins on the nose. The taste profile is dominated by quite strong acidity of cherries, hints of cocoa far behind. Tart-malty finish. Drinkable, but not my kind of good beer drinking. (Tromsø 28.07.2020).

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 24.05.20. Almost ebony. Small and diminishing brown head. Refreshing aroma and taste of sour cherries, coffee and dark chocolate. Quite dry and acid. Acidity and cherries are lingering on.

Snerper i avslutningen. Sjarmerende drikke på en sødag ettermiddag.

Dark red with dark off white head - Dark cherry and wood aroma - Malt body with a tart cherry and wood flavour - The tart berry flavour with heavy wood flavour goes into the finish - A bit to heavy on the wood flavour , but still a nice beer

Bottle. A dark brown beer, close to black, with a small beige head. The aroma has lots of red wine and oak, some licorice and roasted malts, and a burnt hint. Ripe cherries and cocoa in the back. It's medium bodied, slightly oily, soft and perhaps a bit low on carbonation. Roasted malts, burnt notes, red wine and oak. Some cherries and cherry sourness in the back, adding a nice extra layer of flavor. Long finish. A good beer indeed, but a bit too astringent, guess twelve months on the barrels would be enough. 190927

Keg at six degrees north Edinburgh. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coconut, cherry, almond, little soapy, taste is juicy cherry, tart, slight funk, roasted, toffee. Was thinking bourbon based on the coconut but seems like its red wine.
