Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Dark ruby with small beige head. It had notes of roasted malt, cola, wood. Moderate sweetness and drying finish. Pleasant but a touch on the light side even for the style.

Cask handpump at The Bull Baiters, St Johns, Worcester, in the company of Mum and Keith, Saturday 6th January 2018 Pours black with a slim filmy white head. A little thin but it is a very decent mild, a touch woody, a light roast itself easy to drinking, good stuff. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Handbill cask at the Pestle & Mortar, Hinckley. Dark brown, translucent with a small foamy white head. Nutty aroma with a light vegetal note. Taste sweet with a chestnut flavour accompanying the roasted malt. Sweet and slightly fruity finish. A decent mild.
