Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Dark ruby with small beige head. It had notes of roasted malt, cola, wood. Moderate sweetness and drying finish. Pleasant but a touch on the light side even for the style.

500ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is coffee, cola and raisin. Taste has cola and raisin to start with a faint coffee finish.

Cask handpump at The Bull Baiters, St Johns, Worcester, in the company of Mum and Keith, Saturday 6th January 2018 Pours black with a slim filmy white head. A little thin but it is a very decent mild, a touch woody, a light roast itself easy to drinking, good stuff. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Handbill cask at the Pestle & Mortar, Hinckley. Dark brown, translucent with a small foamy white head. Nutty aroma with a light vegetal note. Taste sweet with a chestnut flavour accompanying the roasted malt. Sweet and slightly fruity finish. A decent mild.

Tried at the Newark Beer Festival 2016. Deep ruby colour with an off white head. Light fruity aroma with some roasted malt. Taste light sweet. Body is a touch thin.
